A little about me

I’m a Sports Therapist working in a nursing home in County Louth, Ireland, where most of my days revolve around movement, comfort, and the small routines that help people feel more at home in their bodies. During the pandemic in 2020, when the world slowed to a hush, I began writing as a way to make sense of the quiet. What started as a private practice slowly became a body of short stories, essays, and gentle observations about care, ageing, and the steady rhythms of ordinary life.

My work is shaped by the people I meet, the moments that pass almost unnoticed, and the belief that small things, done consistently and with attention, can change a day. Sometimes even a life. I write to honour those moments.

You’ll find my writing on The Small Hours Press , where I collect short fiction, reflective pieces, and projects exploring memory, routine, and the quiet resilience of older adults.

When I’m not writing or working clinically, I’m usually dabbling in design or a foreign language, walking the coast, or tinkering with new ideas for stories that sit somewhere between care and imagination.
